Independent Blog Status

WolfpackWorld.com is an independent blog with absolutely no official connection to North Carolina State University at Raleigh or any entity within the university proper.  Many contributors have current or former official capacities within the university, but their actions on this site do not constitute in any way, shape, or form an official opinion, report, disclosure, or release from North Carolina State University.

No assumption should be made that anything on this site is connected to any official organization within NC State.

User Behavior and Right to Deny Service

WolfpackWorld.com reserves the rights to deny any user service via user name, e-mail, or IP banning or ‘black listing’ in the interest of preserving a high quality and respectful exchange of ideas and opinions.

User, Writer, and Owner Anonymity

WolfpackWorld.com is a site where individuals can freely express their opinions, concerns, compliments, and suggestions about the NC State community openly and without fear of social reprisal.  As such, it is against WolfpackWorld.com policy to disclose any contact information of any user, writer, or owner to anyone without the user, writer, or owner of interest’s permission.

If you believe you have cause to identify an individual, please contact us via the feedback page and include (a) who you would like to contact and (b) why you need to contact them.

Fair Use of Materials

It is the opinion of the owners and writers of WolfpackWorld.com that any images, quotes, or articles linked constitute “fair use” by virtue that they are not directly being used to promote WolfpackWorld.com and are not directly generating revenue.

Examples of fair use include commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship. (Wikipedia)

If you suspect that any material is being inappropriately used or should include additional citations, please notify us via our feedback page.

Name, Logo, and Disclaimer Regarding NCSU Trademarks

Themed content including the name WolfpackWorld (one word) and WolfpackWorld.com and the WolfpackWorld logo is material created by the webmaster and is not knowingly taken from any copyrighted sources.  The name “WolfpackWorld” is not a trademarked name under university policy and the owners of WolfpackWorld.com do not wish to infringe on any proprietary information from NC State. (A list of North Carolina State University’s trademarked material can be found here.)

If it is believed that there is a conflict with university policies, please contact us via the feedback page including (a) what you believe may be trademarked or copyrighted material and (b) a reference to indicate why you believe material to be proprietary.

Who We Are

WolfpackWorld is created by an alumni of NC State University to talk about sports, campus events, and anything else affecting the university. We believe that sharing your opinions about NC State shouldn't be something that you have to be a web-genius or a member of some inside "old boys club" to enjoy. Good opinions also shouldn't be buried in the usual muck of online forums and web-communities. At WolfpackWorld, we believe being a fan is a part of who we are.

We openly invite anyone to submit material for public or private publishing. We have, and will, publish material from individuals under pseudo-names or under the WolfpackWorld handle. If you would like to contribute to our content, please visit our feedback form and let us know what's on your mind!
